Hello people I most likely don't know! & Welcome to my blog of randomness.
I have a little favor to ask.
It's Only $10 and about 5 minutes.
"Caroline, (Insert Holiday Here) is coming up so I can eat sandwiches all winter long and still not afford 10 measly little dollars." Wow, are you really that poor? Well, I bet the present you are about to spend 2 hours finding will cost more than $10. So instead of buying for the co-worker you barely know, give to something you can know a lot about!
"Caroline, I wasn't buying for a co-worker, it was for my best friend." Even better! You tell you BFF that you don't want just another knick knack that will collect dust. You want to help prevent their mother or baby or significant other, from getting cancer. Tell them that you would rather you the money you were going to get a card with, on charity and you would like them to do the same with the money they were going to spend on you. BAM, you just donated $20.
"Caroline, I don't feel like it right now." Seriously? The faster you do this, the faster we can help people. You want to slow down that process? Really?
I have a little favor to ask.
It's Only $10 and about 5 minutes.
What: I am raising money for an organization to help fight cancer. This charity, F*ck Cancer, is in a contest, Mozilla Firefox Challenge, with a bunch of others and if we raise the most money by Jan.11th we will win an additional $25k. This is so important to me and I'd really appreciate it! It's really easy& would mean the world to not only me, but everyone at F Cancer, everyone on the fundraising team, and everyone this charity will help.
OR if you can't donate, that's okay! Maybe you can get someone else to?
My personal goal is $2500. I'd love your help!
Why: Are you saying you LIKE cancer?!? Well, weirdo, if that's the case and you need a reason other than preventing this disease there are some PRIZES involved.
#1 When donating you will get- drumroll please: Good Karma. Let's face the fact, we all need that one.
#2 If you donate, people will like you. Simple as that.
#3 Donate $29 and you will be entered to win a signed Let's F Cancer T-shirt from Actress/Philanthropist extraordinare, Sophia Bush.
#4 Donate or Raise $2500 and you win a phone call from the same, wonderful lady.
** If you don't know who Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill, John Tucker Must Die, The Hitcher) She's pretty much my favorite person ever, an incredible actress, a great well-rounded person, philanthropist, USC grad, & most of all MY HERO.
& you should know her.
Where: This is all taking place through a website called Crowdrise. You Do Not have to be a Crowdrise member to donate. Click the big green link above to get there.
You can also donate offline and send me money, but I'm trying to help you out cause this really takes about 5 minutes to do online.
** No, Crowdrise will not send you emails, or ever sell your information, or use your credit card number, so stop making excuses and do it already.
When: The Mozilla Firefox Challenge is taking place from now until Jan. 11. However, I would like to remind you that just because the contest ends, doesn't mean the charity will stop needing money. You can always donate money. Go to www.LetsFCancer.com
How: How do I plan on pulling this off? Good question. I plan on drilling everyone I know for even the smallest donations. I plan on campaigning 24/7 for the next month. I plan on posting this to every social media website I can think of and getting every one of my friends to do the same. It's worth it, guys. Honestly it is.
Stop talking yourself out of it right now!
"Caroline, I can't afford that!" It's $10! More About Let's F Cancer
What is F Cancer you may ask? Why am I swearing? Well...for good reason.
With the exponential growth in technology and education, F Cancer has set out to educate everyone to recognize crucial early warning signs of cancer and inspire them turn around and spread the word to loved ones who may be at risk.
So many important charities are focused on finding a cure, when over 90% of all cancers are curable if detected in stage one - Crazy right? If it was any other disease, we'd say that a cure has been found. It's definitely important that we continue research, but right now, early detection is the best cure we have for cancer. And yet, not everyone knows that.
We can save lives just by showing people how to detect early signs of cancer.
Let's put an end to late stage cancer diagnosis. Here's how you can help...
- Educate yourself here.
- Donate, Join my team, and help me raise money and win $25k for this important cause.
- Get the word out about early detection. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell anyone that's willing to listen.
Early detection is key and the only cure that we have. Join my team and help win $25,000 for F Cancer this holiday season.

Sappy 'Emo' Posts
Okay, you caught me! I'm one of those girls that will spend hours searching through quotes and songs lyrics to find just the right words that I then use in my twitter updates.
I actually find it relaxing and satisfying. It's like the modern journaling. I thought I'd post some of my favorites here because... Well lets face it, because I can!
"If you don't thank God after every smile why do you blame him after every tear?"
I recently saw this quote on a painting I found on Etsy (Which, If you don't know, and you should, is a website sort of like Ebay where people sell their own creations.) I couldn't agree more with this. Humans tend to be very hypocritical people. I know personally I will find myself blaming God for some things, but forget to thank Him for the good. Other people I know don't 'believe' in God ... until something tragic happens, and then He is at fault. This is a reminder to me that he is at fault for the good in life too.
"That's the thing about feeling deeply: colours are mad vibrant, light's burningly bright, beauty stuns and the shadows are black holes."I don't know where I found this, but I am a very passionate person. I'm an artist and I always feel everything so deeply. It's sometimes amazing but like the quote says, the colors are brighter, but the blacks are darker.
Another account I follow on twitter is @ToTheKidsWho, which tweets everything starting with, "Here's to the kids who...". I love it and feel like it celebrates individuality so well. This specific quote resonated with me as I know it does with many. Many time people feel like the second choice, and just need to look around because there is someone who wants to give you that attention and make you feel loved.

"We are only boys. How can we be enemies?"
This is truly incredible. It came from a story a man had written about his time in the Congo and 5 young boys he had met. Two of the boys were sure that they had been forced to fight each other, as there is an ongoing war there and these boys had become child soldiers. The man asked the boys if that because they fought on different sides, did that make them enemies? The boy kissed the other and said the above quote. It is so powerful. This trip resulted in the creation of an organization called Falling Whistles which you all need to look up now because it is too wonderful to put in my own words.
"Suddenly, all wars stopped. Bullets turned to film, And the people were recorded rather than ruined."
This is another quote off of something i saw on Etsy. I am a film junkie. I love it! Digital things have significantly less resonance and importance to me compared to things captured on film. It's a hard quote to explain I suppose, but to me it means that maybe if we focused a little more on art and love, violence would decrease.
"When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around." - Willie Nelson
"Striving for excellence motivates you; striving for perfection is demoralizing." - Harriet Braiker
There are a few Twitter accounts I follow just because they provide great quotes. These two are from them and what I would say for both of them is :"That is SO true. Sometimes we forget what is important in life."
"The problem with our world is that there are too many nice girls and not enough nice guys for them."
I didn't expect it, but this was actually tweeted by a friend of mine. I don't know if he got it from a different source or cam up with it himself. For a lot of girls I think it can feel like this. I hope it's not true though because I was never too good at musical chairs, if you know what I mean.
"Here's to the kids who are always second choice."
Twitter might not be so bad after all...

It's Alive!
Yep, it's me. I know I've been away from the blog for what seems like forever and no, I don't have a good excuse.
To complete this rave here is a recent post of Joy's in which my comment was:
I completely agree! Sometimes I feel like I should've been born before technology took over our lives, or was even intended for that matter. (Then I remember how much I love air conditioning and being treated with respect as a women and I snap out of it.. but that is not the point!)
I too adore writing and the older I get the more I wish people still wrote letters and took time to put thoughts on paper. I may only be 16, but I have that "Damn kids these days!" attitude most days. I can't stand reading on kindles and it breaks my heart that brick and mortar book stores are closing across the country! I don't know about you but I need the physical satisfaction of turning a tangible page to get the feeling that I'm actually reading; The sort of stillness feeling you get when it's rainy and grey and you have an amazing cup of hot whatever-you-like-to-drink while cuddling up with a wool blanket and a wonderful story. That is what I want. Call me old-fashioned, but I love it.
Stories are such powerful things and the way you experience them makes all the difference in the world. It's like a movie with a great plot but an awful director.. it just doesn't do the trick.
I love writing too. I'm known for slipping unexpected letters into friends' jacket pockets when they aren't looking. You could call it nostalgia, but seeing as I'm still just a kid and I'm only growing in to this habit, I blame it more on the fact that I was born in the wrong generation.
Unfortunately (and I won't go too deep in to this) I came down with an illness when I was 9 that has since made it very difficult for my brain&body to function normally. Extreme fatigue and almost ADD-like symptoms have plagued me for 7 years. Im that kid who loves learning, is a teacher's pet, gets the A plus PLUS on every project, and yearns for extra credit work so this has been difficult as you can imagine. The wonderful thing is lately I've been starting to get my brain to focus more which allows me to read! I long for those days of clarity in my brain, though few and far between, that i get to enjoy a book.
Im also very musical so I've tried to jot my thoughts down to see what they might turn in to, but so far - nothing. I use to be rich with songs, but now I can't help but think that this is partly Twitter's fault. I've gotten so good at putting everything I need to in to 140 characters that I've forgotten how to elaborate. And what a shame that is.
I tend to find myself with older friends, and I think part of that is kids my age can;t carry on a conversation, especially in person! then less than 5minutes in they whip out the newest smartphone and all hope for an intellectual conversation is lost.
So excuse my rant about how MY generation has lost the fundamental, purest essence of story telling. All we can do is try to restore it.
Although I have some minor set backs I will continue to read and write like every generation before me and I plan to teach the same to my children someday.
And for the record, I totally know who Doris Day and Cary Grant are.
Keep leading your own path Joy! I'll be happy to follow.

I hope you enjoyed my ... elderly take on some fundamentals as far as my generation is concerned.
No I did not post this specifically for your enjoyment, but I hope it interests you anyway,
&Yes, whenever I get inspired and end up writing I slap a title on and post it.
I'm odd, but prefer the term eclectic.
If you read my blog, there is one other you should definitely be keeping up with.
^^That, my dear readers, is a website containing the thoughts and adventures of one Bethany Joy Galeotti.
She's a woman I admire tremendously. Actor, wife, mother. Fashionable, Charitable, Funny, honest.
This woman has it all goin on.

Oh, How Times Have Changed

Also, recently an organization called I Am That Girl gathered a few women (Including Megan and Liz Mace and Sophia Bush who are all major influences in my life.. again beside the point.) and spoke at the white house about the importance of confidence in women and a healthy media environment.
The controversy is everywhere. And yet, it doesn't seem to be "controversial" that we all agree a change needs to be made. When 6 year olds are dressing like hookers and acting like pimps, I think it's obvious something is wrong. We all pretty much think that too, but very few people are acting on it, and that is where it hurts us.
I saw an article recently about an anorexic halloween costume. Anorexia is not something to joke about, and yet the costumes are being sold out. It's sick. The Media will support someone's decision in seeking help for an eating disorder, but turn around an state that someone else is putting on weight.

It's not just about beauty or the media either. What everyone from babies to adults are taught at home matters. If it's that taking abuse is okay or that you are not good enough, even the smallest things can effect our perception and therefore alter us as human beings.
A part of me wonders if these problems existed 100 years ago. When we didn't have so much technology and we spent more time with our family than anyone else, did it affect how we treat ourselves and others?
Maybe I am way off, but if we all just spent a little more time around love, I think the world would be a better place. We can do that by being with people that love us, doing things we are passionate about, or taking part in a random act of kindness.
We all agree things need to change, so change them. Just do it. You have the power. No matter your age, religion, size, or abilities. We can all make further changes in this world.
I'd like to live in a place that is better than in was 100 years ago, but so far all I see is that conditions are worse. You have power even if you don't realize it. Please be the change you want to see and set a good example. You can take part in a revolution.

William Ernest Henley |
“Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.”
We all know this crazy world of social media that is only just beginning to blossom, so the concept of an "About Me" is familiar to most of us. My friend, Derek, wrote this in his:
"I believe in fighting hard for the things that mean somethin
Poetry is a hidden love of mine, so personally, I'm a fan of the Old English, beautifully written, poem, but my point is feelings resinate for years after they are originally felt. Most everyone can experience the same emotion at one point in their lives. Derek and Henley said and meant almost the exact same thing. Obviously Henley never wrote an "About Me" and My friend was restricted to a certain number of characters as he typed his words, however they think some of the same thoughts. Henley wrote this poem on his death bed after his foot had been amputated. Even though Derek doesn't know that exact pain, he understands that pain is a universal feeling. This is proof for all of the doubters out there, that there is hope for our youth and our future. If a 16year old kid can understand and write about the same things an accomplished poet can, I think we might just be okay. After all, "I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul" can apply to everyone that wants to change this world.
(I realize I could just have an amazing friend who is way ahead of his time.. Im okay with that too.)

A Bit of A Diary Entry
So I realize that this post will probably only make sense to about five people in the entire world, but that's ok. I need to get it all out because frankly, I'm busting at the seems! This is directed towards one person in particular. I hope you know who you are, cause Im not telling(;
There will come a day when I feel worthless. I will feel unloved and unlovable. I will feel ugly, worthless and unappreciated. I know this day will come at some point in my life whether it be tomorrow or in ten years. However, On that day, I'll think back. I will think to today. I will think to yesterday and I will think of you. I will remember how you saw something in me when I didn't know there was anything there and you went out of your way to show me it exists inside me. I will remember everything you've taught me. Beauty isn't in any other person's definition but my own. I am more than a single voice. I am a voice with power. That power can change the world and I won't stop until it does. When you put your entire heart into something it will more likely than not, succeed.
These are invaluable lessons and I'm so glad I learned them.
You restore my faith in everything good, and I hope I can do half as much for you as you do for me.

For the health of girls everywhere
OK, so i've had an epiphany!
I don't think women have learned
anything about dating or relationships over the years. I mean really,
if they had I think some of these basic questions would be covered by
now.
Example: What to do when a guy doesn't
like you back
what to do when you fall for a friend
what to do when your friends don't like
your boyfriend
what to do when your boyfriend is too
nice (rare, but believe me it happens)
what to do when you can't tell if a boy
is being nice or flirting
I think the only thing we know, is that
after a breakup sweets are amazing. But even that isn't a good
solution considering we then get fat and break out...
Let's be real here- when you are going
through one of those awful situations that you rant to your best
friend about the first thing that goes through their minds is, “sucks
for you...”. Then, “I'm so glad that's not me!” And finally,
“Aww I'm sorry!(insert platitude here)”
So really, where are us girls to turn
to when it comes to advice? I mean, I'd like to think I give good
advice, but I'm actually the kind of person who says “Take my
advice, I obviously dont use it.”
This is a major dilemma. We can run for
president, but can't deal with a break up? Not good, people.
Here's what need to happen:
Us girls need to nominate a few
individuals who are willing to take one for the team and find out for
all the rest(hence less broken hearts and tear filled eyes) what is
going on, then report back with the cure.
Now that is a cause I support 110%! (:

It's Time
There are campaigns all over the place that promote and support strong women. I personally love it and think these things need to be continued. However, There is one thing we need to improve-
Teaching our boys.
See, it's the last part of this that we are having trouble with. It's time to change that.
Lil Wayne's song "How to Love" points out how hard life is when you are surrounded by people who have no respect for you.
Boys these days are more vulgar and disrespectful than ever, that's why when you find one who isn't, he seems like a gem. Because he is, He's a treasure. I applaud all the parents out there that have raised these types of boys into men. It's obviously not easy or they would all act like that.
So to parents I say, Keep your values in mind.
To everyone else, set a good example.
And to all the girls out there, don't settle for anything less than the best.
There are still some out there, I know it.
It's time, step up your act.

ThE UNwRiTteN RuLE of tHE InTErNEt
Stop. Just stop, alright? I realize that in 2005 typing with an extensive amount of capitalized and lower-case letters in incorrect places was all the rage, but it is SO annoying! In 2005 we also thought that Myspace, gaucho capris, and corduroy jackets were cool. As you can tell, most of us have realized that these are things of the past and need to be left there until some idiot digs up a time capsule that no one wants to see or the 30 year fashion trend cycle is once again set in motion. As for Myspace.. well the only way that one's ever coming back is if Zuckerberg comes up with an even more aggravating version of Facebook. Sorry Tom, but it's not likely.
Here's a reality check for all you retro typers out there- THiS Is nOt An AcCEpTaBle wAY oF WrITing. It looks like a ransom note and frankly, it's hard on the eyes. Not to mention no one can tell the difference between a lower-case "L" and an upper-case "I". I don't mean to go overboard here, but it really should be illegal, or at the very least one of those unwritten, yet accepted rules like not wearing white after labor day (though I'm slowly starting to see this rule revoked and I thank society for my expanding closet), and no hooking up with your best friend's ex under any circumstance. Ever. It's wrong.
Is this your way of trying to get your tweets recognized by your favorite pop star? You may want to rethink your approach because if I'm going to be truthful, having your exotic tweet read by the person you must adore, based on the fact you are willing to embarrass yourself to this extent, will probably make them think you are committable.
I'm not saying this to be mean. I'm simply doing this for the good of typography everywhere. Leave creative typing to the professionals. Now, if you really have that much creativity, make a scrapbook, okay? Look, I even picked out convenient ransom note letters for you! Just don't show me the finished product.
I am very afraid that you will mention something about this hobby of yours under "special skills" on your next job application. It is NOT okay. But never fear, I am here to help. Remember that the first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. Oh, also I think apologizing to everyone you harmed with your problem is in there somewhere too.
MoVE oN PeOPlE! (I'm talking to you, redneck grandma who thinks she's being "hip" and 26 year old community college drop-out living with her parents.)
Post one last status on your Myspace page to get it out of your system, then be done. It will be greatly appreciated, I assure you.

Meeting Austin Nichols |
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU! One Tree Hill has changed my life and because of it, I found you. You have encouraged me to become the person I am today& continue to try to be better. That is a gift alone that has no price. I'm 15 and to be so fortunate as to have you as my role model is a miracle. Everyone around me notices how much of an impact you make on my life and I'm sure they thank you as well.
You're class and self-confidence is inspiring. You're involvement with organizations such as Love is Louder teach me to fight for not I only what I want, but what I believe to be right. My life has turned around. I use green products whenever possible (I'm loving my water bobble AKA the Bush Bottle in my house, & all of my lovely Yes To products!) and never tolerate hatred.
Since I was little I've always loved performing. My parents grew up in Glendale/Pasedena and went to USC just like you! (Look at how awesome our boys are doing this season! As always!) I grew up in Dallas so you can imagine that in my family I've been around creative people my whole life. At first I thought I wanted to sing. Music has been my escape since I came down with a chronic illness when I was nine. About two years later I was invited to watch a filming of Hannah Montana and there realized that acting was my passion. When I was able to go back to school for a few short years after that and involved myself in everything "theater". When my illness resurfaced, I was in bed all day with nothing to do so I started watching boxed sets of Tv shows. Then along came One Tree Hill and I was hooked. Everything from the writing to the way music was incorporated on the show to the location of filming intrigued me. I've watched religiously and even gotten my DAD addicted. I sit in my room and memorize monologues from the show or listen to all of the music.
Last spring a miracle happened. My family has traveled across the country for my medical treatment and other patients have become family for us. We met a women who had contacts in Wilmington. I was able to go to NC with my dad and visit the set for two days during the filming of Flightless Bird, American Mouth. When I walked into the sound stage for the first time I cannot describe the sensation I felt. I was shaking and my legs were buckling under me.I remember on the drive there I was explaining to my dad what an amazing man Greg Prange is. . . I sat behind him for the next two days. It's an experience I will never forget because those were the best days of my life. I met Austin, Rob, Jana, Jackson, Lee, Lisa, Stephen, Michael, James and some amazing crew members. But I think my most vivid memory was when I Beth Crookham walked me toward the offices and said "Let me see if someone is here." She walked out with none other than Mark Schwahn. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He asked me who my favorite Character was and I said "Brooke." He said to make sure I got a piece of your wardrobe before I left. (It's now being framed for my room) They had just brought the Brulian wedding dress back from the cleaners when I went into wardrobe. When I saw it I almost fainted. Things became so real to me then. I am forever grateful to so many people.
The only thing I wish could've happened was to meet you. Though, Im not complaining about eating lunch with three of the hottest guys in hollywood(; I am so very lucky and I know it.
For my 16th birthday on Sept. 27th I have asked to go back to Wilmington. I know that it won't be the same, it was a one-time experience, but I don't care because just being in the town brings me a joy I thought I had lost while being sick. My wish is that I meet you though. Even if it's 10 years from now, I want to meet you. You have helped me overcome so many things and I can't thank you enough.
I don't know how else to express my love and gratitude.
You have saved my life. You have made me fearless and because of you, I am a strong young woman. (thanks for taking the time to read this) <3
Much Love, Caroline(:
October is...
October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month.
But don't just be aware, be knowledgable. It is your duty to the people around you.
Did You Know?
- One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.
- An estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner each year.
- 85% of domestic violence victims are women.
- Historically, females have been most often victimized by someone they knew.- Females who are 20-24 years of age are at the greatest risk of nonfatal intimate partner violence.
- Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police.
Physical abuse is not the only kind, sand it's almost never a 1 time thing.
It is never okay to be treated this way no matter who you are.
For more information or to get help, please call:
THE NATIONAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HOTLINE at 1-800-799-7233
THE NATIONAL SEXUAL ASSAULT HOTLINE AT 1-800-656-4673
THE NATIONAL TEEN DATING ABUSE HOTLINE AT 1-866-331-9474
This is a very serious issue that is often not addressed. This is very close to my heart and not anything to be taken lightly. There are people that care about you. Please Speak out against Violence. If you or someone you know is a victim, please seek help. Everyone deserves better, and you are not alone.
Don't Ban the Bracelets!
There is an article I came by on one of my favorite blogs that was written by a twelve year old about the popular "I <3 Boobies" Bracelets.
This is my response.
I think Mikaela’s attitude towards these bracelets is awesome. Im a teenager and the fact of the matter is I don’t have tons of money to donate to different causes. I’ve been planning to buy this bracelet the next time I saw it for a while now. The way I see it, I get to kill two birds with one stone. Im going to donate money and get a cute bracelet out of it. Now this bracelet is a way of reaching key demographics that other campaigns won’t. Most teenage boys aren’t going to wear pink ribbons, and unless someone in there family is affected they probably wouldn’t know how to go about donating. Sure they might giggle because they are wearing something that says “Boobies” but if that starts a trend getting other kids to buy these bracelets, isn’t it worth it?
I think it’s important to wear these bracelets in school for multiple reasons. One, Activism is not something that is taught in most schools or even by most parents and if it is kids aren’t encouraged the way they should be. To find something you believe in that is affects people you love and fight for it is something important we all should learn.
Two, regarding “boobies” being an inappropriate word for school, I think it’s all about context. We name other body parts in school when we need to learn about them. We read words in classic literature that aren’t otherwise allowed. This has to do with charity! How can a school NOT support that?
Another thing that many people don’t understand is that just because we are all aware that Breast Cancer exists, doesn’t mean that we know a lot about it.(especially kids!) These types of campaigns help that transition. Knowledge is power and the more diverse the knowledge we teach children, the more well rounded they will be. Awareness isn’t just about knowing it heists but being aware of the threats and being aware of ways you can prevent it. Important stuff right there.
School is a place where you should feel comfortable. Teachers are meant to be mentors; people that you can go to when you can’t go to friends or family. I know that If i needed help dealing the stress of someone I know having breast cancer I would be much more likely to go to a teacher who allows these bracelets than one that doesn’t. To me it represents that this person is open about their beliefs and is willing to help those in need and that is the kind of person I want to talk to.
If you are a teacher who has ban these bracelets, I would highly recommend reconsidering your decision. You can have rules, but limit them to not making jokes regarding the bracelets or if the disrupt your teaching, then warn the class. But as a kid myself, I am asking you to give us a chance first. And if we do make a fuss about it, it might just be our way of saying we want to know more.
As far as women getting offended, it would’t offend me. I love my body and I want to take care of it. That’s basically what this is trying to say. And in reality, choosing a controversial slogan is GREAT marketing.
That was all just my way of saying: I LOVE BOOBIES!

I Heart Target!
For those of you who are too "Posh" to ever step foot in a Target, it's awesome and you're missing out. Now I have recently moved to a town that seems to be all about the names, but Boys and Girls, Im bringing Target back.
I can get anything I need right there for a reasonable price and it's always cute!
You say Gucci, I say I can get four equally cute bags for the same price. Beat that!
I'm not saying I would cut out on Name Brands all together, but lets face it- not many people spend thousands of dollars for every room in their house.
I redecorated my bedroom and bathroom by splurging on a Duvet and Shower curtain at Pottery Barn, but everything else came from Target. And may I say, It looks great! Plus I don't have to worry about spilling nail polish on $25 towels because mine were around $8.
Target is a great mix of everything to me. From Groceries and household essentials, to clothes and furniture- Target is my favorite hang out!

"Almost"
I thought I would let you all know why I named my blog what I did.
Im not all of me yet.
I don't know who I am or where I belong.
I haven't found my place in this world.
I haven't completed my journey yet. In fact, I don't think I ever will. I'll still be learning about myself when Im 90. So that's me..
ALMOST Caroline.
Has a nice ring don't you think? (;

Never Grow Up; Taylor Swift
Sometimes I wish I never grew up. Sometimes I wish I won't grow up anymore than I already have.
Things are so complicated already and I'm only 16. Is this how things are always going to be? Everything I do contributes to this tangled web of cause and effect. There are consequences.
I mean.. well that sounds naive. I've always known that there are consequences to my actions, but lately it seems like I have to worry about everyone's feelings. It's like I am constantly walking on eggshells just so that people don't get upset.
I know what you are thinking- Im just too much of a people pleaser. I need to get over the fact that not everyone is going to like the things I do or the way I act. But I really don't think it's like that.
The people in my life are going through a lot of stuff. I know what that's like. I have found solutions to most of these problems. I take the backroads and weave through metaphorical mine fields to get to the people I love. I just can't help thinking it shouldn't be like this.
But maybe that's just part of growing up...
